The application can process thousands of PDF files at one time. The user interface is intuitive and easy to use, no learning curve, no skill needed. They probably added this feature after I blog about it. If the file is 10KB, dont expect much gains.

It is a big number of files, and Acrobat may choke on the number of files to process per folder.

It may be worthwile to look at command-line tools. A first address to ask would be Appligent, and describe the tasks there. Hope this can help.

Max Wyss. As Max mentions, this is a large number of files. On the next dialog, select the "PDF Optimizer" and specify your optimizer settings: You can now use this Action to process multiple files.

All you need to do is create an Action with a Save command and then click the Specify Settings button under that command and check the box next to "PDF Optimizer" in the window that opens: Then set the settings you want to use and you're all done. Run the Action on your files. Edit Answer for another 10 minutes.
