The reason I said this is some software like norton, and ms office when it expires gives you a prompt to upgrade with a paid version. Somewhere in this process it ask you if you have the new product key and you enter it and the trial version turn into the full version. Buggabear, Yes it does give me an option to purchase. After checking other posts that said you had to deactivate it and with no luck on that front either, Last night I just down loaded the whole suite trial and it seems to work OK.
So maybe the version of fireworks was two close to the version I had two years ago. Not sure but it seems odd that after that long the key would still register trial expired and transfer over to a newer version. I even tried to back up the clock to when I installed the trial and it still didn't help. If Adobe wants to make it this hard to try before you shell out hundreds or maybe thousands of dollars for there products, I wonder how much trouble you have with running the programs I think I may look else were and see what other options are available too.
Anyway thanks for the help, I have a work around for now. If anyone does figure this out I am curious to know why it happened. Thanks Again :wave. Adobe Support Community.
