You can do this from the Deskbar, or by running shutdown -r in Terminal. The provided images are in our anyboot format. They can also be used directly from QEMU or installed in other virtual machines. If you choose to download an image, please select from the list of available mirrors below. To make sure that you have got the right file and that it has not been corrupted during file transfer, it is always wise to ensure the integrity of your download. To that end, you can use the SHA checksums shown below to verify that what you have is the correct file.
If you are in Haiku, macOS or Linux, you can use the shasum command from the Terminal to generate a checksum for your downloaded file and verify against those above. If you are in Windows, you can use a tool such as hashtab to display checksums for files directly in explorer. These "nightly images" are provided mainly for development and testing purposes. While we do try to keep our code in a working state at all times, these are not considered to be stable and may be broken in various ways at any given point in time.
Supported variants These images represent the official architecture targets. Developers who choose to release software for Haiku are encouraged to provide a build for each of these releases.
Unsupported variants These images are provided for development and testing purposes only. The non-x86 builds are in the early stages of development. If you're lucky, those non-x86 builds will boot just enough to crash. All of these variant builds are unsupported.
